|
Dear Sailing Enthusiast, For the past years Kentuckiana sailors, such as yourself, have supported the River Cities Community Sailing Program, a non-profit organization that teaches children and adults to sail, through your participation in the 37th annual Captain's Quarters Regatta, September 26, 27 and 28, 2008.
The regatta serves as a fundraiser for the Program. Its proceeds go toward providing scholarships for at-risk children, keeping fees reasonable and the purchase of new equipment. We would like to invite you to continue your support by participating in the Captain's Quarters Regatta. The Captain's Quarters Regatta is one of the region's premier sailing events. Started in 1972 by Ennis Mahon, then owner of Captain's Quarters Restaurant, the regatta has become a fall tradition noted for warm camaraderie, good parties and hot competition. Entry forms are available from this website. Click here to download the registration packet or to contact us for more information. The Captains Quarters Regatta willas alwaysbe a fun-packed, race-packed weekend. Join us!
P.S. The River Cities Community Sailing Program is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. As a result, your entry fee qualifies as a tax deductible contribution.
