LSC continues to see the best turn out in a number of years for racing. Seven Thistles were on the line last Saturday.
The Lasers and Highlanders turned out in mass Sunday expecting to sail in the predicted ten to twenty mile an hour winds. For some reason the winds did not materialize. Someone forgot to turn on the wind switch. Tuesday night more than a half dozen Sunfish raced, while a number of other boats were out for a day sail. If you are waiting for the perfect day, it may never get here. One never knows what the sailing conditions are until one arrives at the club. If your boat has not been in the water yet, now is the time to get it wet.
Wanted: "Current Conditions" Contributions. If you have pictures or good sailing stories that you would want to share with the club, send them in. If you would like an account to add photos to the SailLouisville Photo Gallery contact the Webcaptain.

Handicap Racing is now available every Saturday and Sunday.
Handicap Racing will have the same start as the Thistles on Saturday and the Highlanders on Sunday. All boats that start will finish in the Handicap Fleet. Thistles and Highlanders will also be recorded in their respective fleet. The race committee should record the time of all boats when a race is being run as Handicap.. (This is open to boats other than Lasers and Sunfish.)
