Commissioning Work Party Postponed

May 10, 2012

The commissioning of the Louisville Sail Club is scheduled for this Saturday, May 12th at 9:00 AM has been postponed until the alternate date of Saturday May 19th. The River Wins Again (Same as Last Year)

The forecast is for the river to about one and one-half feet over the dock Saturday morning.  http://water.weather.gov/ahps2/hydrograph.php?wfo=lmk&gage=mluk2

For those anxious to get going, the top part of the club is high and dry.  The work list is taped to the door. It would also be a good weekend to clean the boat and get the rigging ready for the 2012 season. The river has to go down eventually.

For the work party we could use a power washer, small compressor, weed eater, and wheel barrow.  It is also time to bring beverages to stock the downstairs refrigerator.
