Bridge Watch

For those making the trek from Upper River Road to the Louisville Sailing Club or either Captain's Quarters or Limestone marina having the one-lane bridge that crosses Harrod's Creek closed is going to be a hassle.

In Appreciation

It was suggested to the CCL Board that the Cruising Club donate $100 to veterans who served in Iraq and Afghanistan.  The Board agreed and also decided to take up a contribution from members attending the CCL Christmas Party at Captains Quarters.

Marine Sales & Service on River Road is just about the only home-on-the-hard for local area keel boats. Unfortunately the next door sand company blows ill wind.

Sailboaters from marina's near the head of 6-mile island have found The Cove a pleasant refuge from the bounce and current of a river anchorage and a place to raft-up and cool-down after a day of racing.
